GE Annual Volunteer Home Repair Day

On July 17th over 31 GE employees volunteered to work at 2 of the Boys Hope Girls Hope Houses at North Bend and View Place. Members of the F136 Design Team, the Mission Analysis Team, the F101/F110 Design Team, and the F101/F110 Life Management Team worked together and painted rooms, stained a deck, pulled weeds and performed other yard work. Between the two houses, 5 rooms and a long hallway got painted. The back deck at North Bend got stained. All the flower beds are now weed free and mulched. It was a hot muggy day but everyone managed to hang in there until all the work was complete. The day ended with a BBQ at View Place. Thank you to everyone that volunteered. Your hard work is very much appreciated by the kids that live in these houses.
